KAS Uganda’s 2021 Social Media Conference to happen next week
The Social Media Conference organized by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is set to happen between 25th to 26th August virtually at Kampala Sheraton Hotel.
The social media conference will facilite the exchange of information and practices on digital cooperation and social media diplomacy while identifying emerging social media issues and bringing them to the attention of the responsible public bodies.
It will also contribute to capacity building for Internet governance in Africa, drawing fully on local sources of knowledge and expertise.
The discourse intends to unite policy-makers, industry professionals, academics and civil society activists to discuss the role of social media in Africa and Globally, big data, digital innovation and mobile technology.
The list of expected panelists and speakers at this year’s Social Media Conference consists of 34 members from various categories and they include;
