BUL, KCCA FC Draw 1-1

BUL FC has held the visiting KCCA FC in a one-all draw in their StarTimes Premier League match held Tuesday afternoon at the FUFA technical center in Buikwe district.

BUL FC dominated the first round of the game earning a goal from their attacking midfielder, Vincent Ziwa in the 11th, minute.

KCCA’s Julius Poloto equalized for his side in the opening minute of the second round earning his team an extra point away from home.

The KCCA FC Head Coach, Morly Byekwaso, says that they faced tough opposition from their hosts but the players exhibited team spirit, which enabled them to contain the game.

He, however, noted that his players missed several scoring opportunities, which partly deterred them from winning the game.

On his part, BUL’s FC Assistant coach, Richard Kasule, blamed their average result on the lack of concentration from the players.

“It was a tense game and this result is not good for us because the boys relaxed a lot after returning back for second-half play costing us to lose the maximum points,” he said.

Kasule adds that “We conceded a bad goal and the players had a lot of time to rectify this mistake, but none of the created goal-scoring chances were converted.”

The draw has enabled KCCA to maintain its grip as the UPL table leader with 26 points while BUL FC is in the second position with 24 points.
