Two arrested in Bududa for forging academic papers
The Police in Bududa District have arrested and detained two people for allegedly forging academic papers.
Their arrest came after the Bududa District Service Commission noticed the forged academic papers and called in the authorities to intervene.
Among the arrested include; Michael Wamula Wamanga, 41, and Julius Wafula, 40.
It is alleged that the two suspects forged the academic documents in order to acquire Parish Chief jobs in the Bududa District Service Commission.
Rogers Taitika, the Elgon sub-region Police spokesperson says that the suspects were in possession of forged academic papers from Nsamizi Technical Institute in Mpigi district.
Taitika added that the suspects are currently being detained at Bududa Police Station as investigations continue.
