Maj Gen Abel Kandiho Appointed Chief of Joint Staff of Uganda Police Force
Former Chief of Military Intelligence (CMI) Maj General Abel Kandiho has been appointed as the Chief of Joint Staff of Uganda Police by the President of Uganda also the Commander in Chief of Armed Forces, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Kandiho now replaces Maj Gen Jack Bakasumba who has been sent to the Ugandan Delegate to the South Sudan Peace Monitoring Mechanism.
Kandiho has previously served as the Commander of Military Police. He had not spent a month since he was posted in South Sudan.
He joins many other UPDF officers who have recently been deployed in police.
