Gun used to kill Mbarara Police boss recovered
The Police in Mbarara have today recovered a gun used to kill Corpal Agaba Richard. According to the Rwizi Region Police Spokesperson, Samson Kasasira, the gun that was used to kill the late Agaba was revovered from a banana plantation, 50 meters away from the crime scene.
“The banana plantation belongs to Ngabirano Vincent in Mbaguta Cell, Ruharo Ward, Kamukuzi division in Mbarara City the exact area where Agaba was murdered from.”Kasasira told Journalists
Kasasira added that the Police was alerted by Ngabirano after his casual worker, Namugumya Agnes saw it while she was working on Friday morning.

“The Police headed by the DPC of Mbarara and a team of detectives proceeded to the scene and recovered the gun SAR NO. 2691820 with a cartridge stuck in the chamber and it has been taken exhibit pending ballistic tests and fingerprint lifting.” He added.
According to Kasasira, recovering the gun is a clear indication that unknown thugs took off with the weapon grabbed from the late Agaba after the incident.
