Former Kawempe South MP, Mubarak Munyagwa has been ‘kidnapped’ according to a statement by Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) a party he subscribes to.
“We have received the news of the kidnap of Hon. MubarakMunyagwa, our member and former MP kawempe south. He was kidnapped at a gunpoint by a gang of armed men on his way to NBS TV, whisked away in a drone to an unknown destination,” FDC posted last evening.
Munyagwa was due to appear on NBS TV’s barometer. He is known to be outspoken and will easily throw a jibe at those that don’t side with his political stand.
Police is yet to comment on the alleged kidnap.
