Enanga: NUP’s Ssewanyana, Ssegirinya promised Masaka killers wealth
Through the spokesperson Fred Enanga, the Uganda Police Force says they have intelligence that two National Unity Platform (NUP) Members of Parliament, Allan Ssewanyana (MP for Makindye West Division) and Muhammad Ssegirinya for Kawempe North allegedly commanded the gruesome murders in the greater Masaka region.
While addressing journalists at Police headquarters in Naguru on Monday, Enanga revealed that some of the suspects arrested over the said murders have claimed close to 30 lives. It is said that the suspects pinned the two MPs for orchestrating the killings.

He revealed that according to intelligence, the duo allegedly held a meeting in Ndeeba, Kampala, where they met some of the killers and promised them wealth.
According to Enanga, the police believes that the motive was to create animosity against elderly victims for selfish gains.
The duo is expected at the Police Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) headquarters to record statements and give their side of accounts regarding the claims.
