Bobi Wine Forces Deputy Speaker to Storm Out of Burial Ceremony
Last week, National Unity Platform leader, Robert Kyagulanyi otherwise known as Bobi Wine pushed Deputy Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Thomas Tayebwa to storm out of a burial ceremony in Bududa District after the former accused Tayebwa of torture.
The two were among mourners who had gone to bury Henry Masolo Enrico, the father of John Baptist Nambeshe, who succumbed to cancer.
While addressing mourners, Bobi Wine asked Tayebwa to apologise to the country for ‘torturing’ an employee of UMEME years back.
“You have to come out and apologise to the nation and after you do that you will be a right honourable speaker but as for now you are wrong Honourable speaker,” he said
Tayebwa then walked out of the tent and drove away in anger. Bobi then took to his social media to say that, “If you can’t stand the truth, don’t give me the microphone.”
He criticized government for not equipping hospitals with adequate equipment to take care of various healthcare needs.
