Musician Irene Ntale has said she can never work under a record label again. The singer broke through working with Swangz Avenue, but her departure from the label was not a smooth one. There was bad blood.
Ntale then signed with an international record label, Universal Music Group, but things did not go well for her under the label as she did not get anything significant from the label.
In a new interview, Ntale has revealed that she is now more comfortable working independently than under the wings of a label.
“I can no longer sign a contract with any record label because they are greedy. I am more appreciative of my independent career because it has been very productive to me as a person,” she said
Asked why her relationship with Universal didn’t work out, Ntale doesn’t say.
