The 355 (2022)

Starring: Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o, Diane Kruger, Penelope Cruz, Fan Bingbing, Sebastian Stan, Edgar Ramirez and director Simon Kinberg helms this spy thriller about a group of international agents who band together to recover a top-secret weapon from a dangerous mercenary.

Jackass (2022)

The Jackass team has been doing ill-advised stunts for more than two decades now — you think approaching their 50s would stop them? They prove they’re up for anything, from encounters with bears, bulls and spiders to physical challenges likely to give them concussions.

Turning Red (2022)

Starring: Rosalie Chiang, Sandra Oh, James Hong. The first of two Pixar offerings in 2022 is this fantastical coming-of-age tale about a 13-year-old girl who transforms into a giant red panda whenever she gets too excited about something.

Kimi (2022)

This thriller gets underway when an agoraphobic tech worker, played by Zoë Kravitz, monitors anonymous KIMI feeds for quality control, and thinks that tone of the devices may have picked up evidence of a crime in progress.

Scream (2022)

Starring: Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Jack Quaid, Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Dylan Minnette, Marley Shelton. Twenty-five years after the original series of murders in Woodsboro, a new Ghostface emerges and targets a group of teenagers, and Sidney Prescott must return to uncover the truth.

Bigbug (2022)

This Netflix film is written and directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, creator of offbeat movies like Amélie and Delicatessen. This one seems no different: It takes place in 2050, when AI stage a coup and a group of suburbanites (and their household robots) lock themselves in for their protection.

Marry Me (2022)

Starring: Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Sarah Silverman, John Bradley, Maluma. Jennifer Lopez makes a return to rom-coms in this story about a pop star who marries a stranger in one of her crowds (Owen Wilson) after she discovers her partner has been having an affair.

Tall Girl 2 (2022)

Tall Girl 2 stars Ava Michelle, Sabrina Carpenter, Griffin Gluck and Steve Zagn. After Jodi Kreyman gains popularity, her miscommunications start causing rifts with those around her and now she really needs to ‘stand tall’.

Sonic the Hedgehog2 (2022)

Starring: Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, Jim Carrey, Tika Sumpter, Idris Elba, Colleen O’Shaughnessey. This year, Sonic (Ben Schwartz) is back on the big screen, as Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) returns with a furry pal of his own named Knuckles (voiced by Idris Elba) and Sonic must team up with a new friend (voiced by Colleen O’Shaughnessey to stop him

I Want You Back (2022)

Jenny Slate and Charlie Day star as two friends who have recently been dumped. They decide to team up to sabotage their exes’ new relatonships in a bid to win them back. Is it a plan doomed to failure, or just crazy enough to work?
