Justine Nameere starts own TV station in Masaka
City lawyer, TV personality and politician, Justine Nameere has opened her own TV station in Kizungu, Masaka City. She has named the station, TM TV, Uganda with it’s slogan, ” Tusimbudde.”
TM TV is the first TV station in Masaka City. Nameere confirmed the news and said, “I am grateful to God for making my dream come true and giving me a chance to bring the 1st TV station to my home town of Masaka. First priority will be given to talent hailing from Greater Masaka.”
It has also been reported that media consultant, Dr Joel Isabirye will be her consultant and technical officer. The new TV station is set to be unveiled on September 30th ,2021 and kick start it’s normal programming on October 3rd, 2021.
Justine Nameere is best known for her TV show called, ‘Life Stories,’ on NTV, Uganda. The inspirational show attracted huge viewership which made the TV personality scoop a number of awards such as TV programme of the year during the Edutainment Africa Awards. However , in not more than 2 years in 2013, she quit the station citing harrasment from her supervisor which made her work difficult.

Nameere later went to other TV stations like Urban TV, Bukedde TV and Salt TV but she quit a few months over unknown reasons.
The TV personality has also been a content provider for TV stations under her privately owned production company such as The Miss Uganda reality show for BBS TV, Tulambule, Uganda for NBS TV and among other filmed documentaries for several organisations.
