Nick canon’s family is still expanding and he aint giving up.
The Wild n’ Out star, 41 and Brittany Bell – who also share son Golden “Sagon” Cannon, 5, and daughter Powerful Queen Cannon, 21 months – have welcomed their third baby together and Cannon’s 10th child, he announced on Instagram Friday.
Cannon revealed that his newborn son, Rise Messiah Cannon, was born on Sept. 23 after 48 hours of labor. The infant weighed in at 10 pounds.
Writing on the social media platform, he shared, “Another Blessing!!! As my journey on this planet becomes more and more remarkable and unfathomable, all I can do is thank God and continue to ask the Most High to order my steps. He has given me stewardship and dominion over a family dynamic that to some is unimaginable.”
“But more importantly he has blessed me with loving individuals to guide me with care through this purposeful life. I am so indebted and grateful for the matriarch energy in my time of need,” Cannon continued, celebrating Bell for being “the rock and foundation of my Fatherhood journey.”
“She has taught me so much about parenting, psychology, spirituality, love and just life in general,” he noted, saying that ahead of Rise’s birth, “she didn’t want a baby shower and needed NOTHING! All she desired was PRAYER from her authentic Loved Ones!”
Rise’s birth comes weeks after Cannon announced the birth of his youngest daughter, Onyx Ice Cole Cannon.
“Once again Today I am in Awe of the Devine Feminine!” he shared in a Sept. 14 Instagram post. “God has given me and @MissLanishaCole the privilege of hosting an Angel here on earth. I vow to protect, provide, guide and love this child to the best of my abilities.”
Nick also went ahead to defend his growing family, asking skeptics of his large brood to “please project all criticism and cynicism towards ME and not the loving and precious Mothers of my children.”
He added, “If you are truly concerned during this time of Spiritual Warfare, my inner struggles with self, mental wellness and physical health concerns… Just continue to pray for me and my entire family that God will grant us Peace that surpasses all Understanding.”
A few months ago, the rapper and comedian revealed to Entertainment Tonight co-host Nischelle Turner that he could have three kids in 2022.
He admitted that despite others’ concerns about his “unorthodox scenario” he dedicates his “entire day” to his children.
“It’s not as difficult as people think it would be, but I understand [their concern] because it is a very unorthodox scenario,” he said. “I dedicate probably my entire day to my children. Luckily, we are in a world where I’m blessed with the opportunity. I get to spend more time with my children every single day because of my world and my business model.”
