Redpepper Asked to Vacate Premises Over Debt

The woes at Pepper Publications Limited, the publishers are from over. The company is on the verge of losing its office building in Namanve, along Jinja Road due to huge debt amounting to billions of shillings.

The tabloid has been asked to vacate its premises within two weeks. According to a notice by Part Property and Assets Recovery Trust, displayed in the newspapers, the two-story main building and the printery/warehouse will be sold to recover money defaulted.

“The occupants are hereby directed to vacate the immovable property within 14 days from the date of this advert. Failure shall lead to forceful eviction at your own cost and embarrassment,” reads part of the advert.

Redpepper has been struggling financially due to unending legal suits from some they have written about in the past, many of which they have lost.
